Data Collection

Darwin Edge is continuously developing new AI models for the edge. Therefore we need to collect real-world data in the wild. We regularly run data collection projects for which the participants are remunerated based on the time and complexity required.

Upcoming Data Collection Projects

108 – AI Remote vital signs monitoring

This particular data collection project will include short videos and metadata of individuals. The video footage will be taken in an hospital-like setting. Participants will be asked to follow and act out short scenarios. Participants will provide age, gender, ethnicity, weight, and height data to avoid bias and ensure that future AI algorithms are based on a diverse spectrum of people. The participants’ names, DOB and address will NOT be shared.

  • Date: August 22 – August 31, 2022
  • Price: 20 CHF
  • Length: Max 20 minutes
  • Location: EPFL Innovation Park, 1015 Lausanne

The focus of this project is the development of an automated vital signs monitoring solution to assist medical staff and improve patient treatment and well-being.
